Shipping + Returns
We want your Opal + Sage experience to be as seamless as possible. Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about shipping, returns, and what to do if something goes wrong with your order. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions—we’re always happy to help!
Tracking Your Order
As soon as your order is on its way, we’ll email you your tracking details so you can follow its journey. If you don’t see it in your inbox, check your spam folder just in case!
New Zealand Shipping
We offer free shipping on retail orders over $100. Otherwise, shipping is a flat rate of $8.88 for non-rural addresses and $11.11 for rural addresses.
All orders are dispatched from our Opal + Sage Warehouse in Auckland via our trusted courier partner, Zappy.
Estimated delivery times:
- Auckland: 1–3 business days
- North Island: 2–4 business days
- South Island: 3–7 business days
- Rural deliveries may take a little longer.
Deliveries take place Monday to Friday, 9 am–5 pm.
For wholesale customers, shipping is calculated at checkout based on the weight and destination of your order.
Australia Shipping
We offer free shipping on retail orders over $200. Otherwise, shipping is a flat rate of $22.22 NZD.
All orders are dispatched from Opal + Sage Warehouse in Auckland.
Estimated delivery times:
- VIC and NSW metro areas: 2–4 business days
- All other areas: 3–5 business days
- Rural deliveries may take a little longer.
Deliveries take place Monday to Friday, 9 am–5 pm.
Please note: We do not ship to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
Some Australian orders may incur local customs taxes or duties upon arrival. These must be paid by the purchaser and are not the responsibility of Opal + Sage. We recommend checking with your local customs agency before placing your order, as we cannot issue refunds for unpaid taxes or duties.
International Shipping
At this stage, we only ship within New Zealand and Australia. If this changes in the future, we’ll let you know - sign up to our Glimmer Club!
Returns + Refunds
We want you to love your Opal + Sage products. If something’s not quite right, here’s what to do:
- Returns are available for New Zealand customers only. If you’re outside NZ, please choose your products carefully.
- We do not offer refunds or exchanges for items purchased from third-party retailers.
- If you’re unsatisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 30 days for a refund or replacement.
- Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and include your order confirmation.
- We aim to process returns within 3–7 business days.
- Return shipping is at the customer’s expense unless the item is faulty.
To start a return, please get in touch with us, and we’ll provide details on where to send your return.
Damaged Items
We take great care to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition. While minor wear to the shipping box is normal, if the products inside are damaged, let us know! Please email us a photo of the damaged product, and we’ll sort it out as quickly as possible.
Order Cancellations
If you need to cancel your order, please reach out as soon as possible. If we haven’t dispatched it yet, we’ll be able to cancel and refund your purchase using the original payment method. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request!
